Nokia's earliest Android phone which is yet to launch
has been making small appearances on various sites. Now the much-awaited phone
has appeared on some certification sites.
In recent times we’ve given news on leaked features for
the Nokia X as well as a benchmark result with a leaked image (shown here) that
purports to be of the handset. The Nokia X will be an affordable handset that
is likely to do very well in India where other Nokia devices are extremely well-liked.
Some of the features are also rumoured for the
smartphone. The Nokia X will apparently be powered by a dual-core Snapdragon
processor clocking at 1GHz. While the precise SoC is not known yet, some
previous rumours indicate the handset will feature a Snapdragon 200 8225Q.
The display is a rather small 4-inch TFT with a
resolution of 480×845 (FWVGA) pixels. It’s thought to pack a 5-megapixel
shooter, 4GB of expandable storage and 512 MB of RAM. The device will draw
power from a 1500mAh battery. There will be dual SIM support too.
The handset is said to run a highly customized version
of Android 4.4 KitKat also feature Nokia's own application store on board,
similar to what Amazon has done with its Kindle Fire tablets.
The Nokia X is also rumoured to come with dual-SIM
support, while connectivity options including 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE,
AGPS and Micro-USB.

Normandy will take place at Mobile World Congress (MWC) on 24 February
