Intel announced its new
2 in 1 device, which works as both role: PC and Tablet. This device expected
more consumer preference in 2014 as low
price.
Director of marketing and
Market development, Sandeep Aurora said "In 2013, many original equipment
manufacturers coming out with 2 in 1 devices. They called it hybrids and some
other names."
People choose these
devices because it was easy to carry and yet allowed to continue working like
they would working on the desktops. Aurora also said "This year, we expect
prices to come down a little, which would drive the adoption further. The
prices could come down to sub-Rs 30,000 as more OEMs launch their products."
Aurora also said
"With the introduction of ‘Bay Trail’ powered devices also, we expect
2 in 1 devices to hit low price points." Asus has launched their first
hybrid device annd then after Acer is launching their hybrid tablet.
