25,000 Android Smartphone affected by new Trojans on Google Play


Friday, August 09,2013 Russian developer of information security software, Dr.WEB has find the mischievous program on Google Play and then install this program in Android. Then they have send the message Trojans on mobile devices. In this trojans there are three applications entitled as Android. MulDrop, Android.Muldrop.1 and Android. Muldrop.2. This trojans have send sort message to premium numbers and run down subscribe accounts.   

11,000 to 25,000 devices are affected by these mischievous programmers said the Russia-based firm.

Russian developer of information security software, Dr. Web said that the by this trojan audio player and video player of your android devices has displays adult content. They have also said that total number of installations of these three programmers ranges between 11,000 to 25,000.

This Sms-Send Trojan has also harmless they have an extra APK file that contains an Android. When we have running this applications this trojan has entitled Android.muDrop.1 and Android.MultiDrop.2 by Dr.Web. This trojan has prompt the user to download the content they need, but their consent initiates the installation of another application rather than the downloading of files, it added.

When user has installed this trojan in Android. SmsSend.512 will be installed on the devices. This trojan enable a user to view adult video clips. This feature has implemented for avoid the unnecessary suspicion. The second and third trojan carriers contain malware entitled Android.SmsSend.513. Origin. It operates similarly to Android.SmsSend.517, but unlike the latter, it acquires information about short numbers from a command and control server.
