Now WhatsApp Messenger for iOS devices is free.The app now same as can be seen in the android and windows phone.However, those who have already bought the app need not worry about the subscription, since they already have a lifetime subscription to the service at no extra charge.

WhatsApp CEO Jan Koum had talked about to the ios version of whatsapp application in the interview with Dutch Journalist Alexander Klopping back in march.

WhatsApp is the part of the current generation that have solved problems for millions of people.IT is the new kid on the instant messaging block.

Whatsapp cost $0.99 on ios or Rs 55 in india but the app was free. Now the app will follow the subscription model same as android. Users eho paid $0.99 or Rs 55 as one time will get lifetime subscription for the ios.
