ZTE Telecom India today has released two 3G data card
in the India. Of the two USB data cards, one offer 14.4 Mbps download speed
along and another with 7.2 Mbps download speed
ZTE has partnered with Digilife allotment and Marketing
Services which is a 100 percent contributory of HCL Infosystems, for channel
distribution. The company has also tied up with Flipkart for selling the
dongles online. However, the company will only sell off the dongle with 14.4
Mbps speed online for now whereas the data card with 7.2 mbps download speed
can be purchased through both, retailers and online. The data card with 14.4
Mbps download speed is available for Rs 2,250 and the one with 7.2 Mbps
download speed is priced for Rs 1,799
Yuan Kang, director Terminals Business, ZTE India,
said: “We are energized to enter the Indian Open Market with our first two
products and we expect to begin more devices in the future. India is an important market for ZTE and this
is our first step to enter the open market and cater to the requirements of the
masses with ZTE’s innovative products”.
