This
child has become the youngest Microsoft authorized Technology Specialist in the
world.
Pranav
is a fourth grader at Willow Elementary School in Agoura Hills, Calif., a small
city outside of Los Angeles. On 12-January-2013 Kalyan passed the MCTS test in
ASP.NET Framework 3.5, which already makes him smarter and more skilled than
me.
Well,
as it turns out, there's a 9-year-old boy from India that not only could show
most people how to use Windows 8 but a whole lot more as well. The Times of
India reports that the boy, 4th grader Pranav Kalyan, has now passed the
Microsoft authorized Technology Specialist exam. He is the youngest person to
become a certified Microsoft tech specialist. The record was previously held by
a 12-year-old in Dubai.
Becoming
the youngest Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in the world is not an
easy task. The boy studied for the exam for a total of 18 months, while
expenditure approximately eight hours a day working on the computer.
"As
a toddler, Pranav was more attentive by computers than toys. He started writing
small software programs at the age of six," said his father Kalyan, who
added that the boy "is proficient of solving problems in differential
calculus and essential calculus. His efficiency in mathematics helped him write
programs.
