Google responds on missing out December from Android 4.2, assured to bring it back soon

Google has officially responded on the issue and said the following:

 

“We discovered a bug in the Android 4.2 update, which makes it impossible to enter December events in optional fields of the People app (this bug did not affect Calendar). Rest assured, this will be fixed soon so that those of you with December birthdays and anniversaries won’t be forgotten by your friends and family.”

Galaxy Nexus user updated his smartphone to the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and attempted to insert a friend’s birthday into the contacts record and this error on the part of Google came to know.

Google has supposed that the subject will be ‘fixed soon’ but we do not make out how rapidly it will happen because of December which is the month of holidays and festivities.

. If you are one of those affected by the omission, keep a watch on a probable Android 4.2.1 upgrades’s notification to pop up soon.
